How to use our new website – our guide will show you how to get started

We hope you will find all of the new features helpful and that our improved online ordering system is more simple and will save you time.

If you’re not sure where to get started, just continue reading.

First, you will need to be registered on the website, so click here to apply for a trade account. Please note, this is not an automated process so you will need to wait for a member of the Litmans Sales Team to review and approve your application (Monday-Friday only).  Once your account has been activated, you’ll receive an email informing you of your account code. You can then login to your account and input your details, add addresses, etc. You will also have the ability to create other user accounts for colleagues/members of staff. Once this is all up and running, you will have access to all of the new features in the ‘My Account‘ area plus more:

  • View all of our fabrics online
  • View all prices online
  • Access your order history
  • View, download and print PDF invoices
  •  Place orders online 24/7

Customers with credit accounts will be able to place orders online and select the ‘charge to my account’ option.  Proforma customers who usually pay in advance can place orders and pay immediately by card – no more waiting for your invoice and payment link!  You will receive your invoice as soon as you place the order, followed by a dispatch notification and the tracking number once your order has processed and shipped.

Minimum order quantities

These are generally as follows:
► Embroideries/Higher end luxury fabrics = 1 metre

► Lace, satin, jersey, plains, organza, mesh,  etc = 3 metres
► Nets & tulles = 10 metres

Processing times

So you’ve placed your order online and made your payment – how long will you have to wait? If you ordered less than a full roll or piece (generally 50m-100m) then you will need to allow 1-3 working days for the order to move through our cutting room.  Once the goods are dispatched, you will then need to allow a further working day for delivery. We would always suggest ordering a full roll if you’re in a rush as we cannot guarantee cut length orders will be dispatched the same day we receive them due to the extra processing work involved.

The more you buy, the more you save

For our proforma customers we have created a price break incentive.  Price breaks start at 10 metres (excl. nets & mesh), then at 25m and 50m.  Try amending your order quantity to see the lower price and take advantage of some great savings!
